Non-Communicable Disease – Screening Campaign

The Medical Care Committee of YMCA Jaffna, with the generous support of the Children of the late Mr.Thelaiyampalam and Mrs.T.Yamunarani, conducted an NCD Screening at Verapiddy, Karainagar on 27.09.2025. Nearly 100 villagers benefited from the programme.

The campaign was led by Dr.R.Dean Jenifert (Chairman, Medical Care Committee), together with Dr.K.Sivaraman (VP), Dr.Dickson Luis Ariyanayagam and Dr.Benjamin Jeevanan Benedict. Free medicines were also distributed to patients.

We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Directors and staff of Durdans Laboratory Services, who assisted in the screening, as well as the participation of Board Members and the donor family.
