Theme ‘’ Water Conservation’’
The YMCA Founders day falls on 6th June. Since the World Alliance of YMCAs was established in 1855, the YMCAs around the world have been celebrating this historical day with varieties of programmes and activities. YMCA Jaffna celebrated this event from 1^st to 6th June 2019. Many programmes and activities were conducted. In this context, Stickers were printed; Schools were approached to celebrate with the YMCA.

Hon. Mavai S. Senathirajah, M.P ,Hon. P. Ayngaranesan Sri Lankan environmentalist, Rev.Dr.K.J.Arulrajah, St. Peter’s Church, Jaffna, Fr.P.Jebaratnam, Vicar General (at Bishop’s House- RC) The Principal of St.John’s College, The Principal of Chundikuli Girls’ College, Director, Water Board, Jaffna, Dr.Suren Raghavan, Governor of Northern Province, Dr.T.Sathyamoorthy, Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Hon. E. Arnold, Mayor of Jaffna Municipal Council, Vice Chancellor of University Jaffna,and Mr.N.Vethanayahan, District Secretary of Jaffna were Visited daily give the Flags from 1st to 6th June 2018.
