A service of induction with the Blessing of the Almighty God was conducted on 28th January 2022 at the YMCA Chapel. The President and Board of Directors have made it their mission to serve the public through the YMCA. Rev.M.Jeyanantharaja, Regional Chairperson, Jaffna Region CACM delivered the message and blessed the Directors.

The staff members of the Jaffna YMCA who have worked for over five years were recognized at the Annual General Meeting. Mr.S.Jeyarajasingam General Secretary over 25 years, Ms.C.Thusyanthi Accounts Assistant, over 10 years, Mr.S.Gowryshankar over 5 years, and Mr.J.Gopinath over 5 years. A certificate, memento, and cash award were presented.

The photographs of the Founder Presidents of the World and the Jaffna YMCA were unveiled at the reception during the Annual General Meeting by the past President, Mr. R. Vinoth, and an elderly member of the Jaffna YMCA, Mr. K. Sellathurai.

We commenced our office and the activities for the new year (2022) with the blessing of God, our saviour. A Holy Communion Service was held at the Chapel of the Jaffna YMCA (03.01.2022).

  Due to current health regulations, we were unable to have the annual members’ gathering. We did, however, hold a Directors and Staff gathering with their families. The gathering was conducted with the leadership of or Vice President, Mr.T.Jutharajah

Year end gathering of our Preschool Children was held at the YMCA Auditorium and at the Old Park on Sunday, 12th December 2021, from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
