Vegetable plants were distributed
Considering the present economic crisis, the YMCA Jaffna encourages home gardening among the members, families of preschool children, and children's club. As an initial stage, 375 vegetable plants were distributed among the preschools at Poompugar, Ariyalai, and Navanthurai villages.

How to Read the Bible
A seminar on "How to Read the Bible" was conducted by Reverend Phil DeHart and Barp DeHart on Thursday, the 7th April 2022 from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm at the YMCA Auditorium. Seminarians, pastors, and YWCA and YMCA members took part. The Reverend Phil from Mission to the World, he worked with the Rohingya in Myanmar and is very much experienced in how churches can respond to refugee crises with some religious outlook.
